RUA CHA sideboard
for CCC
![]()
This piece of furniture is a result of years of experiments. It was thought for a living room, designed by the Portuguese architects Pablopita.
The idea was to create different compartments to accommodate a hifi system, composed of a record player, an amplifier, and speakers, giving the possibility to use them whether the sideboard is closed or not.
The use of textile was a real challenge but allows to always be able to control the devices by remote control. The slidding door system makes the opening unusually smooth. And the slot in the back allows a very good access to the cables.
